Weighing “just” around 500 kilos, Dilophosaurus was a bit of a lightweight compared to some of the bigger dinosaurs, but definitely not one to underestimate. This carnivorous predator had strong jaws for crunching through fish and smaller dinosaurs, and powerful hind legs that made it a speedy runner when it was on the hunt.
